A few best practices in the fight against fraud!

Digitization has made data (customer, industrial, etc.) accessible and valuable to business development. This effect has not escaped the attention of fraudsters, who see it as a bargaining chip for ransom in a hacking operation. Private individuals, however, are not spared from increasingly common fraud attempts.

Together, we must remain vigilant in the face of the risk of fraudulent communications to combat this worldwide phenomenon. The financial damage can be considerable.

Uptevia was the victim of fraudulent use of its company name and credentials in e-mail scams last December. This won’t be the last identity theft attempt. Here are some tips to help you spot attempted fraud:
