On Tuesday 19 March, Euronext held its 12th annual conference, the place to meet French and European financial market professionals. For the second year running, Uptevia is a partner of the event, an unmissable opportunity to meet representatives of listed companies, investors, private equity professionals, credit institutions and more.
Several speakers followed one another to share their insights and discuss the theme of “Leading the future of capital markets”.
One of the highlights of the conference was the presentation of the Grands Prix des marchés boursiers, recognizing the most emblematic deals of 2023. Among the prize-winners, Uptevia was fortunate enough to support Coty, Neoen and Carbios in their securities transactions. We thank them for their confidence and are proud of their success.
Coty won the Large Cap IPO award. It is one of the largest beauty companies in the world. On September 27, 2023, Coty went public, raising over 339.2 million euros. It is the first American company to successfully raise funds simultaneously in euros and US dollars for an IPO in Europe. Uptevia acted as delivery agent.
Neoen, an independent renewable energies producer listed on Euronext Paris, has won the Large Cap Secondary Transaction award. Neoen raised 750 million euros through a capital increase, to further accelerate its growth in renewable energy production. Uptevia played a centralizing role in this transaction.
Carbios was rewarded in the Small & Mid Cap secondary transaction category for its capital increase with preferential rights of around 141 million euros, centralized by Uptevia, on July 11, 2023. Carbios is a biotechnology company specializing in reinventing the life cycle of plastics and textiles.
