Almost 95% of general meetings are held between April and June, requiring the involvement of more than 30 people, half of whom are recruited for the season.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Uptevia managed 850 assemblies for its clients in iconic Parisian venues such as the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Mogador, L&#8217;Olympia, the Carrousel du Louvre and the Palais des Congr\u00e8s. We rose to the challenge and were able to support our issuer clients, whose shareholder meetings are increasingly subject to pressure from activists. The European harmonisation initiated by the SRD2 directive continues to modify operational processes and encourages the emergence of new players whose knowledge of the market is still relative. The role of the centraliser is therefore key to ensuring the quality of the service and the collection of votes.<\/p>\n<p>The landscape for general meetings has changed in 2024 because of public holidays and the Olympic Games.
